Derek Counihan started his working life with Stockbyte. While working there, he also completed a BSc (Hons) in Computing with Enterprise Studies at IT Tralee.

After Stockbyte was sold to Getty Images he purchased a launderette, which is now a year and a half in business. In the last six months he has secured three major contracts.

Derek is now planning a new venture - a technology based company to launch in 2011.
