Joanna Gardiner was appointed Managing Director of Ovelle Pharmaceuticals in 2000. Under her direction the business experienced a remarkable period of growth resulting in elave, the company's flagship brand, becoming the No 1 pharmacy dry sensitive skincare brand against multinational competition. In 2004 Joanna was an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, DHL Export Award finalist and Ulster Bank Business Achiever. Joanna is Chairperson of the Governing Body of Dundalk Institute of Technology and in October 2008 she began as lecturer on a 10 week Entrepreneurship Management undergraduate course at Trinity College Dublin.
